The Chicago chapter of the Urban Land Institute honored two HPA projects at the 2016 Vision Awards. The Chicago Athletic Association Hotel was the winner in the Historic Preservation category, and Soho House Chicago was recognized for Catalytic Redevelopment.

The awards ceremony was held on June 1 at Morgan MFG in Chicago’s Fulton Market District, and attended by hundreds of design professionals who celebrated the winners during the awards presentations and cocktail reception. Paul Alessandro and Aracely Nevarez represented HPA as they accepted the awards with their project teams.

ULI Chicago is a District Council of the Urban Land Institute, which is a multidisciplinary real estate forum that convenes industry leaders and policy makers to advocate for responsible land-use planning, long-term investment and sustainable development. This marks the fifth year ULI Chicago has hosted its annual Vision Awards program, which celebrates projects that set the bar in design, construction, economics, marketing and management.
