Rise at Riverfront Crossings is a new 575,000 mixed-use development located off campus from the University of Iowa. The ambitious project is the largest mixed-use property to be built in Iowa City, and blends market-rate housing, hospitality, commercial office and retail components.

HPA is providing full architectural services as well as interior design of the multiple-building project. A 14-story tower located on the property’s north end will include a Hyatt Place hotel with 151 keys in studio suite layouts with separate living and sleeping areas. The south end will feature a 15-story student residence with 332 fully-furnished studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments. At the ground level, 6,000 SF of commercial space along Linn Street will provide on-site retail and restaurant offerings. Residents can enjoy 18,5000 SF of indoor and outdoor amenities, including a club lounge with game tables, state-of-the-art fitness center, theater, and business center and study lounge. An expansive roofdeck includes a spa, large-screen video screens, grill areas, and outdoor lounges.
