HPA’s latest collaboration with national student housing developer Core Campus is conveniently located near the University of Minneapolis and directly across from the East Bank Campus metro station – one of the city’s busiest light-rail stops. The transit-oriented development on a quarter-block site is comprised of a 26-story apartment building with 407 units offering 618 beds. The project also includes 10,000 SF of ground-level retail space.

Clad in glass segments and textured panels in warm silver and brown tones, the podium is fronted by active residential and retail uses while concealing the parking areas within the building core.  The tower is moderately set back to delineate the scale and massing of the building. The tower’s metal grid façade, three-story-high window bays, and generous inset recesses provide visual interest along all four building sides.

An expansive amenity area on the seventh floor features interior and exterior spaces, including a fitness center, club room, study spaces, and an outdoor pool, barbecue grills and fire pits. An additional terrace on the 26th floor offers vistas of the Mississippi River and downtown Minneapolis that can be viewed while relaxing in the hot tub, sitting around a fire pit or socializing with friends in the indoor game room.

Parking is provided for 190 cars, as well a bicycle parking space for each resident.
