The former Medical Dental Arts Building, a 1920’s office complex designed by Daniel Burnham, Jr. , was converted into a mixed-use community with luxury apartments, retail and office space.

Originally designed to accommodate doctor and dentist offices, the building required combining unique architectural elements with updated finishes and amenities. The medical demonstration auditorium was transformed into a leasing office, fitness room, and movie theater room for the building’s tenants. A resident lounge and study area extend out to the Sky Park on the 24th floor roof terrace that offers city views of Lake Michigan and Millennium Park.

Careful restoration was undertaken of the brick and limestone façade, the detailed plaster, and preservation of many of the existing terrazzo and marble corridors throughout the building.
