Upon its acquisition and repositioning, this 17-story apartment tower in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood underwent significant renovation to enhance the building’s appeal to renters and brand the asset as a Reside Living property.
To increase its curb appearance, the exterior received new signage and an ipe wood-clad facade treatment. Previously unused frontage was reclaimed as a tenant amenity space, with slate pavers, seating areas and an outdoor fireplace.
Inside, an urban color palette of cool grays is accented by textures, patterns and accents of bright magenta and olive green. A gracious club room with seating and computing areas flows into a demonstration kitchen. The outdoor patio features commercial-quality grills, a firepit, seating and an outdoor herb garden.
