In recognition of the talent, client service and contributions of our staff, HPA is pleased to announce the following promotions.

Megan Zack was named Principal, and will continue to serve as HPA’s Director of Sustainability. A licensed architect and LEED accredited professional, Megan has completed several of HPA’s most significant and sustainable developments, including the LEED Gold-rated Parc Huron. In addition to managing major building projects, her job responsibilities include developing firm-wide best practices and protocols for sustainable architecture.

 John Mitchell has been promoted to Principal. John joined HPA in 2003 and has distinguished himself as a design leader skilled in managing the challenges of complex mixed-use projects. He recently completed new construction of 1225 Old Town, a mixed-use residential tower named Development of the Year at the 2013 Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards. An expert in building envelope systems, he is a member of HPA’s Technical Services Group.
